Carolyn from Flamingo Surprise is incredible and I could not recommend her more!! My partner Benjamin and I got married in May 2023, and Carolyn decorated our reception at Fraser's State Reception Centre in Kings Park. The venue on its own has a beautiful view, but with Carolyn's touch, the whole space looked absolutely magical and I could not have imagined it to look any more perfect!!

From the first call, right through until after the wedding, Carolyn was extremely helpful, responsive, patient and accommodating. After every meeting or interaction I was left feeling calm and confident that we were in good hands.

Carolyn's decorations are top quality and the set up really brought the venue to life. Carolyn even added additional silk flowers that I had purchased separately into her already beautiful silk flower arrangements, which I was incredibly grateful for, and they looked stunning. Carolyn's care and attention to detail is second to none and it won't go unnoticed - Our guests absolutely adored how everything looked.

In addition to making our dream wedding reception come to life, Carolyn also offered us plenty of recommendations for other suppliers which really helped us out.

Carolyn at AFS is your go-to person for wedding decorating and styling. Even when you don't know what you want, Carolyn will very patiently show you what she thinks would suit your needs, and has a massive collection of photos to help you picture what the room will look like once set up. Her experience, attention-to-detail, and efficient communication gave us all the confidence we needed to leave our wedding in her hands. And to top it off, Carolyn is just a lovely person to talk to! Carolyn from Flamingo Surprise was wonderful to work with.
We contacted her approx 1 week out from our Wedding for some (very) last minute décor pieces and were able to secure a Welcome Sign, Gift Table and Cake Stand. Carolyn delivered everything set it all up beautifully and collected everything next day (all coordinated through the venue so there was no added stress or worry on my end). Carolyn was a dream to work with. She was supportive and flexible during the entire process. We unfortunately had to move our wedding several times due to Covid. Carolyn was so helpful and responsive and willing to share her knowledge with us. She did an amazing job of decorating at the reception and we could not have been happier with the quality and small details she included. We never had to worry, Carolyn was always responsive to us and made sure she was in contact with the venue and other vendors to ensure it all went smoothly. She also was a great help in directing us to our amazing florist and cake maker. Thank you so much Carolyn for all your help, knowledge and amazing skills, Adrian and I are so grateful for all your hard work!
